Deleting your social account data
Gamosy Social Publisher connects to social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads) only to publish content you create. We store the OAuth access tokens and connection metadata needed to post on your behalf - we do not store your social account password.
Option 1 - Disconnect in the app (instant)
Open Social Publisher in your Gamosy workspace, go to the Platforms tab, and click Disconnect on the platform you want to remove. We immediately revoke the token at the provider where supported and delete the stored credentials from our database.
Option 2 - Remove Gamosy from your Meta account
You can remove Gamosy from Facebook Settings → Business Integrations (or the equivalent Instagram / Threads connected-apps screen). When you do, Meta notifies Gamosy through our Deauthorize and Data Deletion callbacks, and we automatically deactivate the connection and delete the associated tokens and credentials. Meta then shows you a link to this page that includes a confirmation code, so you can check the status of your deletion request.
Option 3 - Email us
Send a deletion request to privacy@gamosy.com from the email on your Gamosy account. We complete erasure from our active systems within 7 days; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup-rotation cycle (within 30 days).
What is deleted
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the connected platform;
- the platform connection record (platform user id, username, and connection metadata) stored by Gamosy.
Posts already published to a social platform are not removed by this process - they live on that platform and must be deleted there directly. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
