Creating Campaigns

Set up campaigns with platform requirements and content deadlines to attract the right creators.

A campaign is how you distribute Steam keys to creators. Each campaign targets a specific game and defines what kind of creators you're looking for.

Creating a Campaign

Click the Create Campaign button on your Campaigns page. A form appears with these fields:

Basic Information

  • Game — Select one of your imported games from the dropdown
  • Campaign Title — A descriptive name (e.g., "Launch Week Coverage" or "Let's Play Series")
  • Description — Explain what kind of content you're looking for. Be specific about video format, length expectations, and any talking points.
  • Content Requirements — Detailed instructions for creators about what the content should include

Content Deadline

Set how many days creators have to submit their content proof after receiving a key. Typical deadlines range from 7 to 30 days.

Platform Requirements

Define minimum stats per platform. Click the platform tabs to set requirements:

  • YouTube — Minimum subscriber count, minimum average views
  • Twitch — Minimum follower count, minimum average viewers
  • TikTok — Minimum follower count, minimum engagement metrics

Creators only need to meet the requirements on one platform to be eligible.

Smart Defaults

When creating a campaign, Gamosy can auto-populate sensible defaults based on your game and previous campaigns. This speeds up creation for developers who run multiple campaigns.

Campaign Statuses

Campaigns go through these lifecycle stages:

  • Draft — Just created, not visible to creators yet
  • Active — Open for applications. Creators can see and apply.
  • Paused — Temporarily hidden from creators. Existing applications are preserved.
  • Completed — No longer accepting applications. All distributions are finalized.
  • Archived — Removed from active view.

You can transition between statuses using the campaign action menu.

Editing Campaigns

Click the edit button on a campaign card to open the edit sheet. You can modify the title, description, content requirements, and platform requirements. Note that some fields cannot be changed after a campaign has active distributions.

Duplicating Campaigns

Need to create a similar campaign? Use the Duplicate option from the campaign menu. This creates a new draft campaign with the same settings, which you can then customize.
