Organizing Conversations
Mute, archive, and close conversations to keep your Gamosy inbox tidy.
As your messaging activity grows, Gamosy provides several tools to keep your inbox manageable.
Conversation Header Actions
At the top of each conversation, you'll find action buttons for muting, archiving, and closing. These are also accessible via the three-dot menu.
Muting a Conversation
Muting a conversation stops notifications for new messages in that thread. Muted conversations are also excluded from your unread count.
- Click the Mute button in the conversation header
- You'll still see new messages when you open the conversation
- To unmute, click Unmute in the same location
Muting is useful when a conversation is active but doesn't need your immediate attention.
Archiving and Unarchiving
Archiving moves a conversation out of your main inbox and into the Archived tab.
- Click Archive in the conversation header to move it to the archive
- Navigate to the Archived tab in your inbox to find archived conversations
- Click Unarchive to move a conversation back to your main inbox
If someone sends a new message in an archived conversation, it automatically moves back to your main inbox.
Closing a Conversation
Developers can close a conversation when the discussion is complete — for example, after a key has been delivered and content has been submitted.
- Click Close in the conversation header
- The conversation is marked as closed and moved to the archive
- If either participant sends a new message, the conversation reopens automatically
Closing signals to both sides that the topic has been resolved, while still allowing follow-up if needed.
