Developer Setup
Walk through the guided setup wizard to connect Steam, import games, and launch your first campaign.
After choosing the Game Developer identity, you'll go through a guided 5-step wizard that gets you fully set up.
Step 1: Connect Your Steam Account
Click Connect Steam to sign in with your Steam account. This verifies you're a real developer and links your Steam profile to Gamosy.
Your Steam avatar and username will appear on your developer profile once connected.
Step 2: Enter Your Publisher API Key
To import your games, Gamosy needs your Steamworks Publisher API Key. Here's where to find it:
- Go to partner.steamgames.com
- Navigate to Users & Permissions in the sidebar
- Click Manage Group for your publisher
- Find the Publisher Web API Key section
- Copy the key and paste it into the Gamosy form
Gamosy uses this key to fetch your game catalog. The key is stored securely and only used for game synchronization.
Step 3: Import Your Games
Once your Publisher API Key is verified, Gamosy automatically syncs your games from Steam. You'll see a list of your published games with their titles and thumbnails.
Games are enriched with additional data from the Steam Store API, including descriptions, genres, screenshots, trailers, pricing, and review scores.
Step 4: Create Your First Campaign
A campaign is how you distribute Steam keys to creators. The wizard helps you create your first one:
- Select a game from your imported library
- Set a title and description explaining what you're looking for
- Define platform requirements — Minimum follower counts and view metrics per platform (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok)
- Set a content deadline — How many days creators have to submit their content after receiving a key
Step 5: Upload Steam Keys
The final step is uploading Steam keys for your campaign:
- Paste keys directly into the text area (one per line)
- Or upload a CSV file with your keys
Keys are validated for format and checked for duplicates before being added to your campaign.
You're Ready
After completing the wizard, you'll see a celebration screen. Your campaign is set up and ready to go — just activate it when you're ready to start accepting applications from creators.
You can always create more campaigns, import more games, and upload additional keys from your developer dashboard.
