Anti-Fraud Protection

Understand the fraud risk scoring system that protects your keys from scammers.

An estimated 95% of unsolicited key requests are scams — keys end up on resale sites like G2A or Kinguin instead of generating genuine content. Gamosy's anti-fraud system helps you identify and avoid these bad actors.

Fraud Risk Score

Every creator on Gamosy has a Fraud Risk Score from 0 to 100, calculated from behavioral signals. The score is divided into four risk levels:

  • Low (0-20) — No concerning signals. Safe to distribute keys.
  • Medium (21-50) — Some minor flags. Review the creator's profile carefully.
  • High (51-75) — Multiple concerning signals. Proceed with caution.
  • Critical (76-100) — Strong fraud indicators. Consider rejecting.

The 5 Behavioral Signals

Gamosy tracks five fraud indicators, each with a different weight:

1. High Application Rate (weight: 20)

The creator has submitted 5 or more campaign applications in the past 7 days. Scammers often apply to as many campaigns as possible to maximize key acquisition.

2. Low Completion Rate (weight: 25)

The creator has a content delivery rate below 30% (with at least 3 past distributions). This means they receive keys but rarely create content — a classic sign of key reselling.

3. Serial Expirer (weight: 30)

The creator has 3 or more consecutive expired distributions. Repeatedly receiving keys and letting them expire without creating content is a strong fraud indicator.

4. Engagement Mismatch (weight: 15)

The creator's content views are less than 1% of their claimed follower count (with at least 2 content pieces). This suggests inflated follower numbers — possibly purchased followers.

5. New Account, High Value (weight: 10)

The creator's account is less than 14 days old and they're already requesting keys. Legitimate creators usually build a presence before seeking collaborations.

Risk Badges in Application Review

When reviewing applications, each creator's application shows a color-coded fraud risk badge:

  • Green (Low) — No concerns
  • Yellow (Medium) — Minor flags, review profile
  • Orange (High) — Multiple flags, use caution
  • Red (Critical) — Strong fraud indicators

Hover over the badge to see a tooltip with the specific signals that contributed to the score.

Fraud Dashboard

Click the shield icon in the campaign action bar to open the Fraud Dashboard panel. It provides:

Distribution Health

A pie chart showing the breakdown of your key distributions:

  • Completed (content approved)
  • Expired (deadline passed)
  • Revoked (key revoked)
  • Pending (awaiting content)

Risk Distribution

A pie chart showing how many of your distributed keys went to creators at each risk level (low, medium, high, critical).

Flagged Creators

A list of creators with high or critical risk scores who currently have active (non-completed) distributions from your campaign. These are the ones to watch most closely.

Fraud Notifications

Gamosy sends you automatic notifications when:

  • A creator who received your keys has their risk level elevated to high or critical
  • Unusual activity patterns are detected

You can configure these notifications in Settings → Notification Preferences.

Daily Risk Computation

Fraud risk scores are recomputed daily across all active creators. This means new behavioral patterns are detected within 24 hours — a creator who starts showing suspicious activity will be flagged quickly, even for keys already distributed.
