Blocking & Reporting
Report inappropriate messages and block users to keep your Gamosy experience safe.
Gamosy takes messaging safety seriously. If you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can report messages and block users directly from the conversation.
Reporting a Message
If a message violates community guidelines, you can report it for review.
- Hover over the message you want to report
- Click the Report icon
- Select a reason:
- Spam — Unsolicited or repetitive messages
- Harassment — Threatening, abusive, or bullying language
- Scam — Attempts to deceive or defraud
- Inappropriate — Content that violates community standards
- Other — Provide your own description
- Add any additional context if needed
- Click Submit Report
Reports are reviewed by the Gamosy team. The reported user is not notified that a report was filed.
Blocking a User
Blocking prevents all further communication between you and another user.
- Open the conversation with the user you want to block
- Click the three-dot menu in the conversation header
- Select Block User
- Confirm the action
What Happens When You Block Someone
- Neither side can send messages to the other — blocking is bidirectional
- Existing conversations are preserved but locked
- The blocked user is not notified that they've been blocked
- Their messages will no longer appear in your unread count
Unblocking a User
If you change your mind, you can unblock a user at any time.
- Navigate to Messages in the sidebar
- Find the conversation with the blocked user
- Click the three-dot menu and select Unblock User
- Confirm the action
Once unblocked, both sides can send messages again and the conversation resumes normally.
After Blocking or Reporting
Blocking is immediate — the user loses the ability to contact you as soon as you confirm. Reports are reviewed within a few business days. If the Gamosy team finds a violation, appropriate action is taken against the offending account.
